DISASTER RECOVERY: Why is it so important to have a plan?
A Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) is defined as a set of actions to be taken before, during and after a disaster, and is made to help protect businesses in such an event. More importantly, having a well tested, well maintained plan, will ensure that you keep your trucks, freight, employees, and billing moving forward.
Having a DRP and the preventative measures they include are essential for stopping disasters from occurring in the first place. Organizations can’t always avoid disasters, but having a plan will help to minimize the potential damage and get operations back up and running quickly. Preventative measures are used to identify, address, and reduce environmental and other risks in order to stop disasters from occurring in the first place.
Aurora Software views our DRP with the highest priority. We have taken many preventative measures to ensure your company can continue to do business in the event of a prolonged power outage at our base location. This keeps our CLOUD customer base around the world up and running!
