Pioneering Transportation Management Since 1983

Aurora Software was established in 1983 by four technologists who had cut their teeth at large computer companies and shared a passion for the transportation industry. From day one, Aurora defined itself as a TMS built for trucking—marrying operational rigor with accounting precision. One of the founders, a CPA with experience at a nationally recognized accounting firm, led the development of internally built, integrated accounting capabilities. The result: a unified platform that helped pioneer native accounting within TMS, streamlining operations and financials for carriers of all sizes.
